Our NBIS (National Bridge Inspection Standards) certified diving technicians are the eyes and ears of the topside inspection team leader and engineers. All of our certified commercial divers provide the experience and knowledge to carry out repairs efficiently and effectively.

At the request of our clients, a professional engineer can be on site to insure compliance with industry standards. Experienced and professional commercial divers offer cost effective practical solutions to all tasks, routine or complex. Diving Services’ underwater inspection & repair teams have years of experience working in the adverse conditions of underwater bridge substructures.

DSI has the experience, equipment and ability to perform all levels of inspection our client’s request. From a Level I swim by inspection done by a diver knowledgeable in critical areas of concern to Level III destructive testing the can include extracting core samples from concrete or wood structures.

Level II Non Destructive Testing (NDT) with specialized ultra-sonic, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant equipment and performed by a qualified inspector is a DSI specialty.

Diving Service Inc. complies with all National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS). We have DOT trained PE divers who are available to perform bridge inspections. We work with state, federal and private bridge owners whose inspection levels vary with criteria and frequency. Inspection criteria can range from critical scour, fracture critical members, complex, and damage in-depth to special inspections.
